Public Records and Shaytoon present a comprehensively Iranian and dark acid lineup tonight:
Devoted to the euphoric potential of nightlife, Paramida is one of dance music’s most provacative and impressive characters. As a DJ and label head [Love On The Rocks], she has impacted the Berlin club scene with her distinctive attitude to proto-house, trance, percussive gems, high-energy techno, and dream house. The start of her Panorama Bar residency in 2020 kicked off a tireless reign of trippy afterhours journeys and unpredictable closing sets. French producer and DJ Voiski brings his classic electro, spiritual trance, and deeply charismatic groove.
In The Atrium, San Francisco’s Mozhgan ties together the ground floor with an introspective thread of chugging acid and synth jams. Her cosmic and time-bending sets have been heard around the world at festivals like Making Time, Dekmantel Selectors and Return To The Source. She is joined by head of Shaytoon Records and self-described “sonic maverick” Sepehr, who brings his own off-kilter house, psychedelic techno, haute electro, aphrodisiac acid, and freaky jakbeat music to The Sound Room for a night of unstoppable sensuality.
DJ and producer Teeyam traverses brooding psychedelia UPSTAIRS, drawing inspiration from his love of experimental cinema, soundbites, and samples. He runs House of Baba — a SWANA-musician-centered party — held a residency at Underground SF, curated Mutek San Francisco, and received a “best mix of the year” ranking for his 2021 pi pi pi mix series contribution.
