Bold and brazen beyond her DJ years [she’s been at it for just over 2], opener Melbourne’s Kia sojourns through dynamic sets that touch on  bass heavy rhythms and the deeper shades of techno culled from both lost obscurities and modern gems. Her confidence and charm behind the decks translates to her label, Animalia, and mixes for the likes of already constructed revered mixes, and duly earned her her meteoric rise. Our headliner, Derry’s [NI] Or:la, exploded into life after a banging debut EP that bridged UK bass subtleties with breakbeat and percussive techno on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings. Since, the dynamic producer and DJ has been consistent in her beat-heavy compositions and heady selections in the club, earning her a residency at the Warehouse Project in Manchester, a BBC Radio One show and title of DJ Mag’s ‘Best DJ’. As if her own output weren’t keeping her busy enough, she runs the Céad label to release the music of lesser known artists and her La Potion club night, which showcases, in London.
