INDEX:Records returns to Public Records after their debut in The Sound Room last spring. This time, returning with a whole host of label family and ‘xtra special guests for an evening of ambient, electronica, IDM and experimental-pop.

Fueled by an ethos less bound by genre and more bound by feeling, West Mineral Ltd. boss, Brian Leeds, makes music for the mind and for the floor, finding lost artifacts and carving out sounds that speak to an altered state of home, or place. Music that plays tricks on your brain, music that makes you question or surrender your mind, music very much rooted in audio archaeology and personal exploration.

Kissen [live]

Kissen is a singer and producer, originally from the UK and now based in NYC. Ranging from downtempo and R&B to Latin and club music, whatever she plays always has an air of sensuality. Kissen is rapidly making a name for herself in the global music scene, having played for crowds in New York, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin. Her debut Homesick EP was released earlier in the year, as well as her single on 3XL, ‘Tijuana Fog’.

Eden Aurelius [live]

NYC-based producer and DJ Eden Aurelius originates from Chicago’s vibrant underground music scene. With past collaborations on Sweat Equity and Mexico City’s Infinite Machine she has explored the off kilter – bass oriented side of dance music. Her most recent release with Glasgow’s co:clear has widened to a deeper, more immersive end of modern electronic music – providing a connecting link between these palettes.

CYBERMISSION [live]

As a DJ, producer and curator of the label EMOTIONAL WAVES, CYBERMISSION’s focus is on sounds from the deep heart, mind and soul. In her own productions, she reveals an inspiration from dreamcore: soon to release her cutesy IDM-pop EP ‘Zona’ on INDEX:Records, she’s cooking up a special live performance for her set at Public.

vase is an interdimensional sound artist and musician; culprit and collaborator of surreal pop supergroups Downstairs People, games and thru. His sets are produced live with his own MaxMSP program ‘usiq’: handling radial blurring between noise, pop, idm and classical neo rave.
